The Digital Nomad Visa allows remote work from Portugal for a specified period.

- Digital Nomad Visa
Currently, the digital nomad visa can be requested in two categories:
- Temporary Stay Visa: Ideal for those planning stays of less than a year.
- Residence Visa: Suitable for those who wish to stay in Portugal for more than a year.
- Visa Requirements
- Being a remote worker
For Employees:
– Employment contract
– Promise of an employment contract
– Employer’s declaration proving the employment relationship
For Freelancers:
– Partnership contract
– Service contract
– Written proposal for the provision of services
– Document demonstrating the provision of services to one or more entities
- Minimum salary equivalent to four guaranteed monthly minimum wages
Note: The minimum wage in 2024 is €820.00. Therefore, the monthly remuneration must be at least €3280.00.
